A team of Union government officials will visit Chitradurga district on February 11 to review the drought situation in different taluks. The team includes Vijay Thackeray, Ponnu Swamy and L. Chatrunaik.
In a press release issued here on Friday, Deputy Commissioner Srirangaiah said the team would hold a meeting with district-level officers at DC’s office at 9 a.m. and would visit different villages in Chitradurga and Challakere taluks from 10 a.m. In the afternoon, the team would head to Bellari district, added the release.
