Safety of women is top priority, says Siddaramaiah

Siddaramaiah said that government has taken seriously the incidents of assault on women reported in Bengaluru recently.

Stating that safety of women in the State was his government's top priority, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on the second day of the Pravasi Divas on Sunday said that the State government has taken seriously the incidents of assault on women reported in Bengaluru recently.

“Ensuring safety of women has been the topmost priority of the government. Efforts are being made to improve conviction rate in cases related to assault on women,” he said.
