A mega employment mela would be organised at the Yatri Nivas near Veergota village in Deodurg taluk of Raichur district on Thursday to extend job offers to unemployed youths, M. Kurmarao, Chief Executive Officer of the Raichur Zilla Panchayat, has said.
Talking to presspersons here on Monday, Mr. Rao said that considering the unemployment crisis and to extend job offers for skilled unemployed youths, the Karnataka Vocational Training and Skill Development Corporation and the district administration are jointly organising the mela.
“We asked several industries to attend the mela. Around 100 reputed companies are expected to participate in the mela and offer jobs to eligible candidates,” Mr Rao said and appealed to youths to make use of the opportunity.
