A bear fell into a dry, 15 ft. deep well on the outskirts of Bellibatlu village in Pavagada taluk of Tumakuru district in the early hours of Tuesday. Large crowds of people came to the spot to see the bear.
Range Forest Officer Jayalakshmi said the bear is healthy. It will be tranquilised and brought out with the help of veterinary doctors from Bannerghatta National Park.
