There are 441 hypersensitive and 519 sensitive booths among the 20,141 booths in the Kolar Lok Sabha constituency, Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer D.K. Ravi told presspersons here on Monday.
About election preparations, Mr. Ravi said that these booths were classified based on incidents reported during the previous elections. Among these, 289 are in Sidlaghatta and Chintamani Assembly segments in Chickballapur district that come under the Kolar Lok Sabha seat. Additional micro observers would be deputed at these booths, Mr. Ravi said.
