2 elephants driven away

The Forest Department personnel managed to drive away two elephants from the Mallasandra tank near Tumakuru city to Adrangi Forest in Nelamangala taluk of Bengaluru rural district.

Of the eight tuskers, two were driven back to the forest on Monday night. Four tuskers are at Hunaganaala in Manchaladore Forest of Gubbi taluk and two at Nonavinakere tank in Turuvekere taluk. Assistant Conservator of Forests D. Devaraj told The Hindu , “The driving operation will continue till all tuskers are driven back to the forest.”
