15 papers filed in Bidar, Kalaburagi

As many as fifteen candidates, filed their papers from Kalaburagi and Bidar on Friday.

District Election Officers said Medical Education Minister Sharan Prakash Patil filed nominations from Sedam and Minister for IT&BT and Tourism Department Priyank Kharge filed nominations from Chittapur (Reserve) in Kalaburagi district.

Kaneez Fatima, wife of late Qamarul Islam, former Minister, of Congress, filed nomination from Gulbarga North, M.Y. Patil (Congress) and Maalikayya Guttedar (BJP) and Goving Bhat (JDS) filed from Afzalpur.

Kedarlingayya Hiremath, of JD(S) filed his nomination from Jewargi. Vinod Kumar Brahmagnani filed his papers as an Independent from Chittapur (Reserve). Ganpath Rao Mane of SUCI (C) filed his papers from Gulbarga Rural (Reserve); Sushila Bai (JDS) filed papers from Chincholli (Reserve) and Prakash Rathod (Bharatiya Bahujan Kranti Dal) from Gulbarga North. In Bidar, Minister for Municipal Administration Eshwar Khandre and Prakash Khandre, of the JD(S), filed nominations from Bhalki Assembly constituency. Bandeppa Khasampur of JD(S) and A. Saleem Sakurmiya of Bharatiya Praja Paksha filed papers in Bidar (South).
