10-day legislature session from February 2

A 10-day joint session of the State legislature will commence on February 2 here. Governor Vajubhai R. Vala will address the joint session at the newly renovated hall of the Assembly at noon, according to a notification by the State Legislature. The Opposition is expected to use the session to attack the Congress government for its “failures” on various fronts, including the alleged involvement of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in denotification of lands acquired for the formation of Arakavathi Layout.
