Activists of the Bharatiya Janata Party, the Bajrang Dal, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad staged a protest, under the aegis of the Nagarika Vedike, here on Wednesday condemning the incidents of political deaths reported in Kerala.

Addressing the protest meet, Leader of Opposition in Legislative Council K.S. Eshwarappa alleged that cadres of the Left parties were unleashing violence on their political opponents in Kannur and neighboring districts in Kerala.

Mr. Eshwarappa termed the political killings as blatant violation of human rights and expressed displeasure that the State government did not react to these acts. He pressed for a thorough probe into the incidents of political killings and arrest of the erring persons.
