A 14-year-old boy was arrested in Makranpur on the outskirts of Kannad in the Aurangabad district of Maharashtra on Sunday for allegedly raping a four-and-half-year-old girl.
The girl was sexually assaulted on Saturday evening.
“The girl is not originally from this village and she had come to stay with her aunt. The incident came to light when her aunt found her crying and bleeding,” said Assistant Superintendent of Police Shailesh Balkavade, who is investigating the case.
