Jurists seek Bharat Ratna for Krishna Iyer

The All India Association of Jurists (AIAJ) has appealed to President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to confer the Bharat Ratna on Justice V.R. Krishna Iyer, who turned 100 on Saturday. In a representation, AIAJ chairman M. Antony Selvaraj saidit was Justice Krishna Iyer’s efforts that made the Supreme Court consider the problems of the small man on the streets.
