Press Trust of India's Patna Bureau chief Ajay Kumar Tiwari passed away at the Ganga Ram hospital at New Delhi on Wednesday after protracted illness, family sources said.
He was 46.
Tiwari is survived by his wife and two sons.
His body being brought here from New Delhi for cremation. In a distinguished career over 24 years, Tiwari served at Ranchi, New Delhi and Patna bureaus.
The staffers at PTI Patna bureau held a condolence meeting and mourned the demise of their colleague and bureau chief.
