Congress spokesperson Jayanti Natrajan, a member of the JPC which will probe the 2G spectrum scam, is likely to be nominated by the party to the Public Accounts Committee of Parliament.

The PAC, headed by senior BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi, is also looking into the 2G spectrum issue.

Congress sources said that besides Ms. Natrajan, the other Rajya Sabha member from the party on the PAC would be Saifuddin Soz, who is being renominated.

Ms. Natrajan will apparently replace Ashwani Kumar in the PAC as he has now become a Minister.

Party MPs from Lok Sabha on the reconstituted PAC are likely to be Vilas Muttemwar, Sandeep Dikshit, Girija Vyas and Sanjay Nirupam.
