‘ISI agent’ arrested in Faizabad

The Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terror Squad on Wednesday arrested one Aftab Ali from Faizabad on charges of being an agent of Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence.

The ATS said Aftab was sending key Indian military information to Pakistan in a codified language.

He is accused of sharing data on the movement of the Army in Faizabad and Lucknow and appointments of its battalions, time and dates of train travel of certain Army regiments and size of the Army platoon in Amritsar.

Another suspect has been held for questioning.
