Domestic help at homes in major cities are women. In many retail/small shops they are also employees.
Pictures speak a lot....no matter how much and how long people write but a picture speaks a lot more than writing.
Manual Scavenging - We should take a target for constructing and maintaining 1.3 million toilets across the country, which should be employing these women. This will make it easy for other women and they can move around easily.
Salute The Hindu for paying tributes to the silent women who make our lives comfortable! When shopping spree and exchange of cards become women's day rituals, I think it is worthwhile to take a peek at the lives of toiling women of our lives.
