India’s High Commissioner to Pakistan Ajay Bisaria called on Pakistan’s National Security Advisor Nasir Khan Janjua on Tuesday and had “constructive discussions” with him.
The meeting comes days after India and Pakistan agreed to mutually avoid causing problems to diplomats based in New Delhi and Islamabad.
Official sources said that the meeting between Mr. Bisaria and Mr. Janjua had been scheduled a week earlier.
“The Indian High Commissioner sensitised the Pakistan NSA on issues of India’s concern. Constructive discussions took place on improving the bilateral relationship,” the sources added.
