IIM Professor murder: Driver taken into custody

The driver of slain IIM professor Amrita Panchal was on Tuesday taken into custody by the Madhya Pradesh Police in connection with her murder.

Anil Patel was questioned on Monday night for his alleged role in the murder and was taken into custody this morning, police said.

The 32-year-old professor was killed on the night of December 17 at her official residence inside the high-security campus at Rau.

Panchal was attacked with sharp-edged weapons and was stabbed nearly a dozen times causing her grievous injuries.
