Union Minister of Telecommunication and Human Resource Development Kapil Sibal on Saturday declined to react to Bharatiya Janata Party leader Murli Manohar Joshi's comment on the 2G spectrum scam. “Murli Manohar Joshi is a very senior leader. I don't want to comment on what he said and I don't know how to read between the lines,” he told journalists at the Indian Institute of Technology-Bombay, where he had come to inaugurate the Victor Menezes Convention Centre.

Mr. Sibal was delivering a lecture at the IIT on the ‘Role of technology, knowledge and innovation in transforming India.

Dr. Joshi had asked if Mr. Sibal had even read the Comptroller and Auditor General's report on the 2G spectrum allocation.
