The ‘hundi' collection in the temple of Lord Venkateswara here on Sunday registered a staggering income of Rs. 5.73 crore. This is said to be the highest-ever ‘hundi' income registered in the history of the temple in a single day, surpassing Rs. 4.23 crore recorded on New Year Day this year.

Who says india is poor? Who on earth has toones of money to throw into gutter. It happens only in India. The worthy people will evade tax. Pay less to employees. Even shop lift in malls. Do not feed the maid a good food. Indulge in to corrupt practices to earn by un even means. To wash all the sins the last abode is Shirdi Sai, Tirupati balaji or Siddhi Vinayak. No sane person making his livelyhood honestly will put the fortune in to Hundi. If this is religious, I pity the Indian psyche. They do not know that the wealth they put in hundi is never utilised for betterment of the mankind but for embezzlement by the unscrupulous all and sundry.
