A day after Hasan Ali Khan, accused of massive money laundering, requested court that he be admitted to hospital as he had suffered an ‘initial paralytic attack,' a medical report submitted by doctors of the J. J Hospital here said he was not suffering from paralysis.

The report has stated he is suffering from diabetes and hypertension.

“The report says he is fine and isn't suffering from paralysis but from frozen shoulder.

“It also says there is no emergency for admitting him to hospital,” an Enforcement Directorate official told The Hindu here on Thursday.


Hasan Ali had claimed that he had suffered paralytic attack and jail authorities did not immediately take him to hospital.

They instead administered him an injection.

The medical report said the doctors conducted all essential tests on Mr. Hasan Ali.

Hearing deferred

The Special Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) court took the report on record and deferred the hearing on his medical application till Saturday.
