Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, after the Supreme Court judgment in the 2G scam.
Addressing a public meeting on the conclusion of his one-day “Sadbhavana Mission” fast at Mandvi, he said the court had come out with a “clear” indictment on the largest scam ever in the country.
He said even after the apex court's order to the trial court on Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram, the Congress and the Centre “have come out in the open to save the Minister.” Actually the effort was not to save him but to “protect some very big heads behind the Minister.”

I should appreciate you for publication of this news item. In spite of your antipathy to Mr Modi, you have exhibited your fairness in not blacking it out.It has not been reported in any other major daily.
Look who is asking Mr Man Mohan Singh to quit? Modi must be the very last man on this planet to give lectures and advice on the morality, probity and honesty. He was aked by his own Prime minister to resign long ago to follow the " Rajya dharma". Did he accede to that advice from his own party'e tallest leader and the PM of India? No. Then with what face he is asking Mr MM Singh to resign when even the Apex court has not indicted the PM?
