Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar inaugurates the CM Web Portal on the occasion of 'Good Governance Day' in Chandigarh on Thursday.

On the lines of the Prime Minister’s Office portal, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Thursday launched his CM Web Portal and a CM Window in all districts of the State “to bring transparency in governance and ensure prompt redressal of people’s grievances.”

During the day, which was celebrated as “Good Governance Day,” Mr. Khattar also launched online registration of sale deeds in eight tehsils.

Later, he addressed the Administrative Secretaries and Deputy Commissioners and spoke about how the State Government plans to carry out property indexing of individual as well as area population so that a consolidated data base can be prepared to meet out the requirements of a particular region.

Speaking about the CM web portal -- haryanacmoffice.gov.in. – the Chief Minister said it has been designed to meet the twin objective of minimum administration-maximum governance and to try and provide benefits of the welfare schemes to all. Mr. Khattar directed the Deputy Commissioners to start work on the new system and ensure that the complainants were fully satisfied with the redressal of their complaint.

CM Window

The CM Window, it was informed, has been opened in all district headquarters and in Haryana Bhawan, New Delhi to increase the access to and reach of the government.

Chief Secretary P.K. Gupta said these two new IT based platforms would help in bridging the gap between government and common people and allow for speedy redressal of complaints.

Director General, Information Public Relations and Culture Affairs Department, Abhilaksh Likhi said the CM Web Portal would be available in English, Hindi and Punjabi and people would be able to connect to it even while surfing Facebook and Twitter. He said the CM web portal has been designed on the pattern of Prime Minister’s Office and additional links have been added to it.

'Share your Ideas' section

An important aspect is its “Share your Ideas” section where people would be able to give suggestions to the Chief Minister’s office. These would help the government in formulating policies. The link for CM Grievances Redressal system has also been provided on this web portal for submitting complaints.

OSD (Grievances) to Chief Minister Bhupeshwar Dayal said the CM Grievances Redressal and Monitoring System is an integrated workflow system based on web technology. On entry into the system, it facilitates generation of a unique registration number. The entered data is transmitted between Deputy Commissioners (DCs), departments and their subordinate offices on-line. The system also facilitates online tracking of status of grievances.
