The condition of former prime minister Inder Kumar Gujral, who is admitted to the Medicity Medanta Hospital in Gurgaon with a lung infection, is “stable but critical”.
Mr Gujral, 92, who was admitted to the hospital on November 19, is still on the ventilator. He was on dialysis for over a year now and had suffered a serious chest infection few days ago.
“His condition is stable but critical,” Narender Mehta, Media Adviser to I K Gujral, said outside the hospital on Sunday.
Reports of some tests would come out on Monday, and only after observing the results, the doctors would comment, he added.
