Pakistan Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf on Friday condoled the death of I.K. Gujral, the former Indian premier. “He [Gujral] will always be remembered for his admirable role he played to bring India and Pakistan closer,’’ he said in his message to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
“In his death, the region has lost a noble and distinguished politician,” Mr. Ashraf said.
