Overcoming all dissent that manifested itself at the national executive here in June last year, Narendra Modi is coming back to Goa as the BJP’s prime ministerial candidate to address a “Vijay Sankalp Rally.”
The meeting is to be held at St. Cruz, on the outskirts of the capital city, at 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Considering the significance of every constituency for the party in the coming general election, the BJP is not taking chances on the two seats in Goa, only one of which it presently holds.
It has set an agenda of 272-plus, the half-way mark in Parliament.
