April 11, 2017 10:48 pm | Updated 10:48 pm IST - NEW DELHI

Pointing to the growing threat of radicalisation, a prominent Pakistani politician asked India and Pakistan on Tuesday to hold an urgent dialogue on the Kashmir issue. The former Foreign Minister, Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri, urged both countries to reduce hostilities on the issue of the death sentence awarded to Kulbhushan Jadhav.

“I have come to India, though bilateral ties are not in good condition, as I believe both countries must speak as not engaging will give space to the disturbances of West Asia to move to south Asia,” Mr. Kasuri said, indicating that the problems of Kashmir and Afghanistan required urgent solutions.
