German drugged, robbed in train

A German national was found in a delirious condition in a train compartment at Howrah Station on Wednesday, after he was drugged and robbed.

David Peteman was found unconscious in an empty compartment of the Vibhuti Express at Howrah by a constable of the Railway Protection Force.

It was learnt that he had been drugged by strangers who offered him tea. The train plies between Varanasi and Kolkata. Officials of the German Consulate visited Mr. Peteman.
