BJP national president Nitin Gadkari, who is facing the heat over corruption allegations, on Thursday cancelled his scheduled trip to Delhi as he was indisposed.

“Nitinji has cancelled his routine visit to Delhi since he is indisposed due to exertion yesterday on Vijayadashmi,” his personal staff said when contacted.

It was widely speculated that Mr. Gadkari would be on Thursday meeting top party leaders in Delhi, who have backed him.

Media reports have raised questions over the source of funds for Purti Power and Sugar Ltd controlled by Mr. Gadkari.

The BJP president has stated that he is ready for any investigation into the antecedents of Purti Power and Sugar Ltd.

The problem was always, 'the pot was always hesitant to call the kettle black' ! Now we know
why! The unashamed corruption that became the norm for both sides of the politics
prompted them to collude with each other while the ordinary public has missed out. The
public has to wake up and assure that the representative they elect and send to parliament is
above board. If there is any suggestion of a tainted character in the candidate, dump that
person! Only the people can change the parliament and the people in it! Time has gone long
past that it is time someone cleaned up the smell of politics! There is an urgent need for the
country to move forward and these awful people have been holding her back and depriving
the rights of the ordinary citizens.

questions which Govt and Vadra needs to answer.
1. Did you think that you were getting deals from DLF that were exceptionally good? Were you suspicious at what you might be asked to do in return?
2. How did you locate the land in Sonepat that you resold to DLF? Did you know in advance that a change-of-land-use notification was imminent?
3. What paperwork did your company file in order to get the CLU notification passed, following which the value of the land increased by over 300 per cent? Did you make any calls or meet any officials in your legitimate effort to have the land rezoned?
4. Why did you sell out of DLF's SEZ holding company? Did you think that Rs 2.5 lakh, what you paid, was a fair valuation of 50 per cent of the company? Did you approach DLF with the deal, or did they approach you?
5. If DLF took possession of the Sonepat land in 2008-09, as they claim, why is it still on your books as an incomplete sale in 2010-11? What is your tax liability on the transaction, and

He should be investigated but so should Vadra and all the others accused of corruption. Nobody is above the law.

BJP should have the same set of standards for Nitin Gadkari, Salman
Khurshid,Virbhadra Singh, Robert Vadra, and Rahul Gandhi regarding
their personal and financial conduct. This party which is vociferous
about 'Probity in public life' Nitin Gadkari should lead by example by
asking Nitin Gadkari to resign from the post of party president and
face an enquiry to gain more moral strength for similar action by
those in the congress party against their errant ministers, party
functionaries and their relatives and in the public perception it will
really be seen as a party with a difference.

He should set an example, as he supposedly leads the party with a difference. He should resign and face the enquiry. If he comes clean, the party should embrace him again. In fact, this is what all the BJP leaders have been demanding all along from the congress leaders facing corruption charges.

In the present situation we are left with no option as to who is honest
and capable in taking country to great heights .Every one is playing the
ball in collusion with another whether it is congress, BJP or any other
party. Friends, now it's high time that we should demand right to reject
in the forthcoming elections.

BJP and Gadkari are sounding very brave about investigations into the scams as they know too well that nothing will come out of it and Gadkari can still retain his millions without any problems.
