Four Naxalites involved in the recent attack on CRPF camp in Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh were arrested on Saturday, police said.

Narayanpur district Police Superintendent Rahul Bhagat told PTI that Gadvaram, Mainuram, Som Singh and Bachhuram Dhruv, involved in the CRPF camp attack and also in the killing of three villagers were arrested from the Edka jungles.

Acting on a tip off that the Maoists would be coming to the Edka jungles, police laid out a dragnet and nabbed them. They also seized explosives and literature related to CPI (Maoists) from them, Mr. Bhagat said.

The four men were involved in the killing of three villagers on June 30 and had attacked a CRPF camp on July 7, Mr. Bhagat said, adding they were possibly working on a plan to place landmines on roads.
