Four injured as two suburban trains collide

Four persons were injured when two suburban trains collided in the Krishnagar–Sealdah section of Eastern Railway on Saturday.

A spokesman of the Railways said that according to initial reports, the motorman of one of the trains was among the injured. The rest were passengers.

The incident occurred when the driver of a train flouted the signal and hit the stationary train on the Phulia-Santinagar line.
