Four held in connection with Patna blasts

Four persons wanted by the National Intelligence Agency in connection with the Patna blasts were held in Ranchi on Wednesday.

Hyder Ali, Numan, Mujibullah and Taufiq were arrested in an Intelligence Bureau-led operation, for the October 2013 blasts.

Five persons were killed and 83 injured in >multiple blasts that rocked Patna’s Gandhi Maidan and the railway station, hours before Prime Minister-elect Narendra Modi was to address the Hunkar rally.

PTI adds:

NIA had announced a cash reward of Rs. five lakh for them.

The central intelligence agencies had been trying to crack the Patna blast case especially after the arrest of Yasin Bhatkal who was nabbed in Bihar last year.
