There is no news about the fate of six Indians trapped in a diving chamber on a ship that went down off Iran's coast on Friday, said reports reaching here. The Indian Consul-General in Bandar Abbas has rushed to the place where the chamber has been brought ashore. The place is 500 km away from Iran's largest port of Bandar Abbas.

The six Indians were among a crew of divers installing an underwater pipeline. They were on a diving support ship which went down in choppy waters. Out of 73 aboard, 60 were rescued but the 13 divers, including five Iranians who were in the chamber went down with the ship.

The chamber, brought out by the Iranians, sank about 200 feet and oxygen supply was limited.
