ED summons RJD MP’s wife

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued fresh summons to the wife of RJD MP P.C. Gupta for recording her statement in connection with alleged corruption in awarding maintenance contracts of two railway hotels to a Patna-based private company when party chief Lalu Prasad was Railway Minister.

Three more suspects have been summoned. The notice has been served on Sarla Gupta for personal appearance on Friday. She was summoned twice earlier this month, but she did not turn up.
