The Enforcement Directorate has got custody of Saradha Group chairman Sudipta Sen for interrogation in connection with the multi-crore Ponzi scam unearthed earlier this year. The agency also plans to summon some of his accomplices to crosscheck his disclosures.

As earlier reported by The Hindu , the agency had moved the court seeking a production warrant against him. Having obtained his custody, the ED will record his statement that would also help to identify more assets acquired through illegally generated funds.
