The Enforcement Directorate has provisionally attached assets in connection with the February 2012 Israeli diplomat attack case, in which the Delhi Police Special Cell had arrested journalist Syed Mohammed Ahmad Kazmi for his alleged involvement. The ED, which may soon file a prosecution complaint in the case, has attached about $1,200 and a vehicle allegedly used by the terror module which targeted an Israeli embassy vehicle on February 13, 2012.

The diplomat, Tal Yehoshua Koren, was seriously injured in the blast after an improvised explosive device fixed to the vehicle went off.

Mr. Kazmi’s lawyer Mehmood Pracha said: “We have not been informed of such an order.”

The police filed a charge sheet in the case, naming him as an accused and listing four Iranian nationals as suspects.
