Actress-turned-politician Hema Malini, declared “missing” from her constituency Mathura earlier this month, is yet to attend the second session of the 16th Lok Sabha.

Amid reports that posters had come up in her constituency stating “Hema Malini is missing since election results,” the first-time Lok Sabha member tweeted last week that she was returning to India after meeting some commitments in the U.S.

Though Ms. Malini had on Monday tweeted that she was back home and “well rested” and leaving for Delhi and Mathura in a couple of days, she was nowhere to be seen in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday morning. Her Bollywood co-star Vinod Khanna has, in comparison, nearly 100 per cent attendance, signing up on 14 of 15 days.
