With reference to the news report published in The Hindu on March 5, 2011 under the headline ‘Telecom Department orders ban on blog hosting site,' it is hereby clarified that no instruction has been issued by the Department of Telecommunications to Internet Service Providers for blocking blog hosting website ‘Typepad.com,' along with a few other websites named therein.
