DMK president M. Karunanidhi, general secretary K. Anbazhagan and other senior party functionaries will submit a memorandum to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, seeking immediate action to prevent the attack on Tamils in Kerala and the Centre's intervention to increase the water level in Mullaperiyar dam to 142 feet.

A decision in this regard was taken at a meeting of the Theni district DMK functionaries at the party headquarters here on Friday.

A party press release said the DMK leaders would meet Dr. Singh and submit a memorandum during his visit to Chennai on December 26.
