More than 70 trains were affected by dense fog in north India on Saturday.
Northern Railway said more than 37 trains, including the Rajdhani Express from Howrah, Sealdah, Bhubaneswar, Patna and Guwahati, arrived in the city several hours late.
The late arrival of trains led to the departure of 30 trains having been rescheduled and the cancellation of 12 trains, a spokesperson said.
The Railways had earlier announced the cancellation of 26 trains from this month till January, anticipating disruption by fog.
