Asif, who hails from Delhi had received training in the Af-Pak region and had recruited others here in India as well, the police said. He was arrested in Delhi on December 14.

"He had come to the Capital two days ago. We had intelligence inputs about his presence and arrested him," said Special Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) Arvind Deep on Wednesday.
