Delhi HC blast: Two Hizb workers arrested from J&K

Two Hizbul Mujahideen over ground workers were arrested on Thursday from Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur district in connection with the Delhi High Court blast case.

The Hizb over ground workers Manzoor Ahmed and Mustaq Ahmed were arrested from Majori belt of Ramnagar tehsil and handed over to National Investigative Agency, probing the Delhi High Court blast, a senior police officer told PTI here.

According to reports, the duo had provided shelter to Hizb militants Junaid Akram Malik, Amir Ali Malik alias Kamran and Sheikh shakeel alias Chota Hafiz who were involved in the blast on September 7 which left 15 people dead, he said.

Besides the two over ground workers, three persons including a medical student Wasim Akram have so far been arrested for their alleged involvement in the case.
