Dantewada: Under fear's shadow, life moves on


Dantewada's tribals are unable to escape the spectre of violence. As the Maoists and the security forces confront each other, the members of the Moriya tribe try to go about their normal routines. On Friday, these residents of the poor region of Bastar were preparing to celebrate "Aam Panda" the mango festival. Photojournalist Arunangsu Roy Chowdhury found the air troubled, but the tribals had brought out their drums for the ritual dances.
