CRPF jawan commits suicide

A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan on Wednesday allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle on the outskirts of Jammu city.

Mustaq Ahmed, a jawan of 86 Battalion of CRPF, shot himself from his service rifle during his duty at Sainik School in Nagrota belt, a officer said.

The body of the jawan, who belonged to Rajouri district, has been sent for post-mortem.

A case has been registered and investigations are on.
