Court upholds inquiry against Prakash Dessai

The Goa Bench of the Bombay High Court on Monday upheld an inquiry instituted by Goa Vigilance Department against ex- chief of Goa Public Service Commission (GPSC) Prakash N. Dessai dismissing the latter’s petition challenging State government’s move.

The matter pertained to some recruitments in State Commercial Taxes Department made by GPSC in the past and sought to be challenged by present government.
