The Sessions court here on Tuesday extended the judicial custody of Pune-based businessman Hasan Ali Khan and his aide Kashinath Tapuriah for a day.

Both are on the Enforcement Directorate's (ED) radar for allegedly stashing away huge sums of black money in foreign banks.

The court will hear Hasan Ali's bail plea on Wednesday.

The ED has been interrogating Hasan Ali and Tapuriah and maintained that both “conspired together” for committing illegal activities.

It said the former had made substantial money from criminal activities and that he be tried under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act.
