Ramjanmaboomi Nyas president Mahant Nitya Gopal Dass has expressed happiness over the Allahabad High Court's verdict in the Ayodhya case, saying the court “has upheld truths and facts.” However, he added that this was a victory neither for Hindus nor Muslims; it is the “victory of Ram Lalla.”

The Mahant said both sides were now expected to approach the Supreme Court. “We will say that the entire land belongs to Ram Lalla,” he said, pointing to the order assigning one-third of the land to the Waqf Board.

Asked whether the Ramjanmaboomi Nyas would now move in to build a temple, he said: “No, let the Supreme Court decision come first.”

The court order established the basis of their assertions. “Our Muslim brothers have time and again said they will accept the court decision.”

Asked whether the matter could now be resolved through dialogue, he said: “We are open to talks in a cordial atmosphere.”
