In yet another salvo at the BJP and the Congress, Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday held both the parties responsible for AAP quitting the government in Delhi, alleging that he was not allowed to continue for opposing the move to hike gas price that would have benefitted Reliance Industries.
“BJP and Congress were favouring Mukesh Ambani. That was the main reason why they didn’t allow us to run the government in Delhi. Both parties wanted hike in price of natural gas but due to our effort it did not happen,” Mr Kejriwal said, addressing a roadshow in North-East Delhi constituency.
In February, the then AAP government had ordered filing of an FIR against Petroleum Minister M Veerappa Moily, former minister Murli Deora and Ambani for alleged collusion in the hike in prices of natural gas from KG basin.
