The Madras High Court on Thursday granted conditional bail to Hansraj Saxena of Sun Pictures who has been arrested in a case registered by the Kodambakkam police.
The case pertains to the alleged cheating of a film producer, Hitesh Jabak, in connection with the film ‘Maappillai.'
Based on a complaint by the producer, the police registered a case.
Mr. Saxena's earlier bail petition had been dismissed by the Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai.
