Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has reportedly issued an ultimatum to BJP president Nitin Gadkari asking him to come clean about the allegations of corruption against him by the month-end.
According to some reliable sources, the RSS has demanded an explanation from Mr. Gadkari over the allegations that were levelled against him by India Against Corruption (IAC) activist Arvind Kejriwal and a section of the media.
However, Mr. Gadkari’s personal secretary Sudhir Dewgaonkar denied having information about any such ultimatum. The RSS has also not issued any official statement on the issue.
Mr. Kejriwal had earlier accused Mr. Gadkari of grabbing farm lands in Vidarbha for his sugar factory, which the BJP president denied saying, “The land which is alleged to be grabbed by me is still under the ownership of Maharashtra government and the farmers are still tiling that land.”
An English newspaper on Tuesday alleged that Ideal Road Builders (IRB), which was given construction tender to construct Mumbai-Pune Express Highway, has invested in Mr. Gadkari’s company, Purti Limited. The report said that most of the addresses of Purti shareholders were “unverifiable”.

Without the corporal punishments, we cannot eradicate the corruption
from our country.
This is a power struggle within the bjp. RSS wants to keep the power
through gadkari. But the real fact is if you know for certain that you
are smarter, wiser than someone to lead the party, Will you work under
him. Definitely not. This is psychology we are still playing the
animals game survival of the fittest in a different way that's it. Its
all power struggle within the bjp that come to end soon. Except yogita
thakre death in his house and corruption allegations.He seems to be a
good man in general. A man who has been associated with RSS for long
time can not this much bad. Some thing missing here. we will come to
know soon.
If RSS wishes to keep away from controversy surrounding Shri Gadkari and his businesses, it is entitled to do so. But then it should really keep away from all political developments, not even related to Shri Narendra Modi. But citizens know that the source of funds of companies who have made investments in Shri Gadkari’s main company require a probe. Enough evidence is in now in public domain which calls for detailed answers from those who made such investments in these businesses. It appears that both RSS and BJP would fast lose credibility if they continue to protect Shri Gadkari.

At least RSS has guts to ask Gadkari to come clean (if it true)because such comments are not heard from any other political party now a days.
Gadkari should resign immediately for the best interest of BJP. Sushma Swaraj should be made BJP president.
Yesterday in a reputed news channel we got an information about Nitin Gadkari's companies that the addresses where they have been registered were not verified. As BJP has demanded probe against Vadra for irregularities in Vadra-DLF deals with Haryana Gov, they should also have the same stand for BJP president. Are the two national parties working towards making India corruption free or they would save each other the way corruption charges are getting revealed against each one of them?
BJP should not be under the command of RSS. BJP should convene its
executive committee and request Gadkariji to resign in the best interest
of the Party.It is good that Yeddyurappa is leaving the party on his own
with his friends. Advaniji may be requested to preside over the party
for another two years since people recognize him as a 'statesman'.
Otherwise, they will face the imminent danger of being rejected by
People in the elections.
Too late. What kind of people does RSS have at the top now? How can you nominate such a perosn to head a party? But the question is, with corruption in our blood now, who do you select? RSS needs a proper background check before granting its membership. First Yeddyurappa, and now Gadkari, such people are shredding the moral fabric of RSS. Gadkari should be made to step down immediately and hand over the charge to Narendra Modi as BJP President.
RSS is just trying to cover their back. Gadkari is from Narpur and RSS headquarters is
also in Nagpur. Unless RSS lives behind a 10 fool wall, they should be fully aware of
Gadkari's dealings. Few year back Gadkari booked a whole stadium for his Son's
marriage and people say that he may have spent at least 20 - 30 crores on function.
Yet RSS forced BJP to give him 2nd term by amending its constitution. This is why
people should question why RSS should be controlling a national political party when
they are not answerable to people.
BJP seems is no less in the game of corruption.It looks like the scam in BJP is surfacing via Gadkari.Congress is grand daddy in scams.
Gadkari must resign and any longer he stays BJP prospects in 2014 elections will erode away if he stays.
RSS has a lot to loose in affair a al Gadkari , who became BJP neta on support from RSS. He he no capability or competence and has ruined the fortunes of BJP.During his presidency BJP has suffered infighting, indiscipline and revolt.
If it is true, RSS is right in their present move to give an ultimatum to the BJP president to come out clean from the allegations levelled against him. Unless the UPA, which is already neck deep in curruption might use this issue as weapon against BJP in which the party is unattatched.Now majority of the people has a belief that both Congress and BJP are both sides of the same coin, hence don't make much difference in policy even if take place a change in the ruling front after 2014 election. It is the responsibility of the BJP to prove that they have a different development agenda and propagate it in advance. As an opposition they have been an utter failure due to their style of functioning in the parliament and most often they failed keep their flock in the NDA together due grave ideological differences among the parties. If once more BJP allow the currupt Unpopular Alliance to retain the power, they will defenitely swallow the country as a whole, which willn't allow to happen.
BJP has been taken over by businessmen,lawyers,Industrialists etc.There
is no place for social workers like Nanaji Deshmuk and statesmen like
Atalji.
IF RSS has ordered Gadkari to come clean, it's an order in the right direction. RSS as the conscience keeper of BJP has long been silent. Yeddurappa was allowed too much of leeway by BJP and RSS. Reminds me of the days of Balashab Deoras, when even the senior ministers would not dare to sit in front of him.
RSS, BJP needs you to cleanse itself.
