The Supreme Court has dismissed as withdrawn the bail plea of a chartered accountant who threatened the Goa-Delhi Indigo flight passengers saying he had hijacked the plane and created a scare among the crew and passengers with infected needles.
A Bench consisting of Justices P. Sathasivam and H.L. Dattu on Wednesday permitted the special leave petition filed by Jitender Kumar Mohla to be withdrawn. Senior counsel K.T.S. Tulsi submitted that it was an unpardonable and foolish behaviour on the part of the petitioner.
